Your account and household

Cheeky Checkmarks is operated by Keith Buckley, an individual based in the United States.

Keep parent sign-in details and your Parent PIN private. Pair only devices that should access your household. Children use restricted displays under your supervision without accounts of their own. You control the routines, child information and widget content entered through your account. Use nicknames and avoid sensitive information the service does not need. Our privacy notice explains how household information is handled.

App Store household subscription

Cheeky Household Monthly provides all released Cheeky features for one household at US$2.99 per month in the United States. Eligible customers receive a seven-day free introductory trial, followed by the monthly price. Apple determines introductory-offer eligibility. There is no permanent free tier for this App Store subscription. Existing pre-launch access is separate and does not create an Apple subscription or payment obligation.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple displays the price in your storefront's currency and any eligible introductory offer before you subscribe. Check Apple's purchase confirmation for the price and terms that apply to your purchase.

Google Play household subscription

The public Android release requires a household subscription for routine access. There are no ads or ongoing ad-supported Free tier. Parents manage the subscription; children use parent-paired displays without purchase or upgrade prompts.

Cheeky+ provides the released Premium household features, including unlimited routines and editing, Premium content and Teen Mode, without ads. The United States monthly plan is US$2.99 per month. Eligible customers can start a seven-day free trial followed by monthly renewal; Google Play determines eligibility and displays the applicable price, taxes and purchase terms before you subscribe.

Google charges the purchasing Google account. Renewal is automatic unless cancelled through Google Play Subscriptions. Existing pre-launch access remains separate and does not create a payment obligation. When confirmed Cheeky+ access ends, your household information stays saved. Routine access pauses until a valid household subscription returns. Paired displays show a neutral request for a parent to check access, without a paywall or purchase controls for children.

Cancellation, restoration and deletion

Manage or cancel through Apple Subscriptions. Cancellation turns off renewal; access continues through the expiry confirmed by Apple, including any applicable grace period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules and applicable law. When access ends, household data stays saved unless it is deleted through the account-deletion process.

Restore purchases while signed into the original Cheeky household and the Apple Account used to purchase. A subscription is bound to one Cheeky household and cannot be moved to another by restoring. Apple Family Sharing is not enabled. Contact support if you need help finding the original account. Deleting an app or a Cheeky account does not cancel an Apple subscription; cancel it through Apple separately.

For Google Play purchases, manage or cancel renewal in Google Play Subscriptions. Cancellation normally preserves access until the store-confirmed expiry; applicable grace periods and refunds follow Google's rules and consumer law. Restore purchases using the original Cheeky household and purchasing Google account. Restoring cannot move a purchase between households. Deleting the app or a Cheeky account does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

Using reminders and paired displays

Internet access is needed for setup and synchronization. Timed spoken reminders require the designated Family Display to remain open, awake and sound-enabled. A sleeping or locked screen cannot deliver those reminders. This is a family organization tool, not an emergency, medical or safety-critical reminder service.

Weather forecasts currently cover supported U.S. locations only. Local forecasts outside the United States are not supported. You can use Cheeky without adding weather.

Acceptable use

Do not access another family's data, disrupt the service, evade security controls, enter unlawful content, or use Cheeky to harass or humiliate a child. Funny should stay kind. You remain responsible for the household content you enter.

App Store license and support

The App Store app is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, including its warranty and liability provisions. Nothing in these terms limits rights that applicable consumer law gives you.
