Plan on your phone.
In the parent app, add your kids and make a routine. Then open Manage → Displays → Pair another screen to get a pairing code. Keep your phone in Parent mode.

On the tablet’s Family Display, open Look & feel and try Autumn After Hours—or another favorite theme. Themes are chosen on each screen, so changing your phone won’t change the tablet.

Turn sound on for spoken reactions and enable reminders in each routine if you want nudges. Timed reminders need an open, online, sound-enabled Family Display—not a locked screen or background app.
No spare tablet? You can still switch between Parent and Family Display on one device, or pair a child’s phone for their own checkmarks. Timed reminders don’t play on personal child phones.

This started with my twins. And me on repeat.
Hi, I’m Keith—a stay-at-home dad of twins. I built Cheeky just for us, because I wanted my kids to get everyday things done without Dad being the reminder for every step.
The idea was simple: give each kid their own checklist, let them take charge of the checkmarks, and add a little humor to make the routine more fun. It worked so well in our house that other moms started asking how they could get their hands on it. That’s when our little family app became something I wanted to share.
I’m also a Marine veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. These days, I’m raising twins and building this app myself. I design it, use it with my family, and read your feedback personally.
Cheeky is still growing. What helps at your house—and what doesn’t—helps me figure out what to improve next.

Is “roasting” actually kind?
That’s the rule. The jokes are about everyday situations, never a child’s identity, intelligence, body, or distress. Listen to the public demo to get a feel for Cheeky’s tone.
What do we need to use it?
Cheeky works on iPhone, iPad and Android. Android downloads are available in the US. We recommend your phone for parent setup and a separate tablet for the kids’ Family Display. A child display doesn't need a separate child account. One device in different modes also works—a second device is recommended, not required. See the pairing and theme steps.
Does my child need an account?
Parents create and manage child profiles. Children don’t need an email address or password to use the paired Family Display. The public demo uses sample tasks and needs no family information.
Can we try it quietly?
Yes. Turn sound off on the sample above, or simply explore the page. In your family’s routines, voice reactions are optional; getting things done still counts.
